Spanish gaming site 3DJuegos spoke with Yoshio Sakamoto, the man behind Metroid: Other M, who said that Nintendo's next console will be so surprising, you'll keep you mouth open when seeing it:

“At Nintendo we always have the obligation to surprise users with a new game console,”
“We have never done what others have. We prefer to create something new that catches attention, and I think this will continue this time as well. Surely the new Nintendo machine will leave you all with your mouth open.”
Hints with regards to Nintendo's next console include the addition of 3D (following in the footsteps of the 3DS) but NoA's Reggie Fils-Aimes in March still said we're still a long way from getting a Wii successor in stores.“We have never done what others have. We prefer to create something new that catches attention, and I think this will continue this time as well. Surely the new Nintendo machine will leave you all with your mouth open.”
