Microsoft: We outsold the PS3 3 to 1 on Black Friday

Microsoft sent out a press release where they announced their sales success on America's favourite shopping day, Black Friday.

Quoting feedback from their U.S. retailers Microsoft claims a 3 to 1 ratio bonus compared to the Playstation 3 and a 25% jump in sales compared to last year's Black Friday, calling it 'historical'.

Strong game sales rounded out a historic Black Friday for Xbox 360, with record-paced software sales continuing for key Microsoft titles, such as “Gears of War 2,” “Fable II,” and “Lips.”

They now also announced an attach rate of roughly eight games per console.

So you're actually seeing the higher price of the PS3 as an advantage? You do realise that the higher price is not 100% higher profit for Sony?
