Microsoft not pulling the plug on underperforming XBLA games
Microsoft did some damage control in an interview with IGN concerning the de-listing of sub par performing XBLA games.
Microsoft corporate vice president John Schappert told IGN that statements made earlier this year concerning the topic were false. Back in May, word got out that the company planned on de-listing games that got a metacritic score of less than 6 out of 10 and a conversion rate under 6%.
Instead Schappert told them they "set parameters by which we can delist" but "We have no immediate plans to act on de-listing,".
To conclude he also said the New Xbox Experience, available in November, would improve the XBLA listing and make de-listing unnecessary.
