Microsoft has registered the term 343 Industries for use with "computer programs, namely, game software for use on computers and video."

343 Industries sounds like a label or the name of a company rather than the title of a game. This could mean Microsoft is planning to consolidate all of its Halo franchise in one company. Why Halo? Well, 343 comes back as the name 343 Guilty Spark which is an AI in Halo that is set out to destroy all life in the galaxy.

So if we look at this info, we can actually deduct a number of possibilities:

Microsoft is going to consolidate all that is Halo (including a movie and whatever they come up for the rest) into one company

Microsoft wants to trademark 343 Industries as it's part of an upcoming game and doesn't want anyone else getting away with the name

Microsoft is so in love with the character 343 Guilty Spark that they're going to set up a company to see if they can actually create it in real life and destroy all life in the galaxy.
