Microsoft unveils plenty of XBLA trailers & screens
This weekend it's PAX East (Penny Arcade Expo) in Boston, a three day long expo for tabletop, videogame and PC gamers. At the floor there's plenty of tournaments, playing arenas, nerdcore gigs, panel discussions and a room filled with companies showing off their products.
Amongst those there's some pretty big names including SEGA, 2K, EA, Ubisoft and Microsoft. The latter has released a ton of new material for their upcoming XBLA titles. A complete list with trailers and screenshots can be found below:
Comic Jumper: The Adventures of Captain Smiley
The game takes you along on the crazy adventures of Captain Smiley. Development is being done by Twisted Pixel, the same team that did The Maw and 'splosion man. Little is known about the platform shooter but we do have a trailer from the first demo which is playable at PAX.

Hydro Thunder Hurricane
The sequel to Hydro Thunder which lets you race of cruise over dynamic water physics in 8 different levels. Combat can be done in 9 unique boats with giant turbo engines and this through 40 different game modes. Release is planned for this Summer.
Hydrophobia
The game plays in the near future where we have an overcrowded world. You're Kate Wilson, an engineer on board of the “Queen of the World”, a ship with the size of a city and home of the richest of the world. The ship gets a leak, however, and you have to use your tools to escape from the lower decks.
LIMBO
Limbo is a black&white puzzle platform adventure that puts the player in the shoes of a young man who travels through a world of betrayal to discover what happened to his sister. Development is being done by PLAYDEAD and release is planned for this Summer.
Monday Night Combat
A third person shooter where several classes take on each other in a popular but deadly sport from the future. The game is filled with intense combat, finishing moves and TV show-like challenges. The more fans you gather the more cash you get for better weapons or defenses. Why fight for honor or duty when you can do it for the American dream: money and fame!
Raskulls
A crazy legbreaking action platformer where you get going with a gang of really weird characters in the singleplayer Mega Quest or individual Grand Prix racing games. Online you can explore the world with fellow Raskulls. Jump, fall, swim and fight your way through a variety of levels to explore each centimeter of the rich Raskulls world. The XBLA title will be released this Spring and development is being done by Halfbrick Studios.
Snoopy: Flying Ace
No dogfights without a dog! Join Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the rest of the Peanuts gang in the first online flight shooter for XBLA. A simple control scheme, a hangar filled with adjustable airplanes and weapons, and steel nerves are all you need to climb the leaderboards and earn your status as Ace. The game is planned for the second quarter of 2010 and development is done by Smart Bomb Interactive who previously did Snoopy and the Red Baron.
