Fatality right around the corner?

A day after Midway posted yet another quarter in red the Chicago studio head, Mike Bilder, decided enough is enough and left.

Mike Bilder, head of Midway Chicago who are responsible for Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, Stranglehold and Blitz: The League has parted ways with the company and took on a job with another Chicago-based development studio.

When contacted for comment, Midway reps responded "We are evaluating internal and external candidates for the role, and both Blitz: The League II and Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, as well as other projects in the Chicago studio, are on track for successful launches."

Mona Hamilton, vice president of marketing, and Reilly Brennan, director of media relations, have also been reported as having left Midway to pursue other opportunities.

Things certainly aren't looking bright and shine for Midway. A "Fatality" coming up?
