Midway files Chapter 11, The Wheelman sold off?
Not being able to pay back $150 million debt, Midway has filed for Chapter 11, protection from bankruptcy. Apparently, as a result of that, the company has sold off its rights to The Wheelman which have been picked up by Ubisoft.
The Wheelman, featuring Vin Diesel, is a new property that's almost finished (release was set for March 20th) so selling it off is a quick and easy way for Midway to gather some money but since neither Ubisoft nor Midway have made any announcements yet it's best to keep this in the "rumour bin" for now.
