Major Nelson of Microsoft was kind enough to post a summary of all the Xbox 360 news from the CES 2010 press conference. With it, the conference has officially started.

There are around 39 million Xbox 360 consoles spread around the world, which are good for about 500 million sold games with a value of about 20 billion dollars.

Between Christmas and Newyear Xbox Live had it most active period, with a new member every second and a record of 2,2 million players simultaneously online.

This Spring we can also expect the first Modern Warfare 2 content packs (DLC), exclusively for the Xbox 360 and Xbox Live.

Later this Spring we can expect the so called ‘Game Room’ on Xbox Live. You will be able to play some of most classic arcade games ever developed. One of the benefits it seems, is that if you bought an arcade game, you can play it both on the X360 and PC. Every week a new arcade game will be released and you can invite your friends to come and play your own collection of games with their avatar.

And as mentioned before , we can also expect Project Natal at the end of this year.
