More detail regarding Sony's motion controller

Sony Computer Entertainment's CEO Jack Tretton has stated that the upcoming motion controller for the PS3 will work with all previously released games. So it will be perfectly possible to kill Helghast in Killzone 2 or kick the ball in FIFA 09 with it.

Next to that the controller will also have force feedback rumble and up to four devices will be able to be used at the same time. Nice additional feature is that the camera that works together with the motion controller can recognise faces and voices which might lead to many original games.

Finally Jack also said that development of the controller has been going on since the introduction of the original EyeToy in 2003 and that dev kits have been sent to developers a couple of months ago already.

Release of the controller is planned for Fall 2010.
