Winter Assault, the expansion to the excellent Warhammer 40.000: Dawn of War rts game from last year, will have some nice, new goodies when it comes out in September this year.

This Gamespot-preview mentions f.e. the new units for each existing race (see the quote below).

Fortunately, the game's four other factions will be joined by all-new units to round out their ranks as well--and all of these units come right out of the actual Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game rules. These include the space marines' skull-headed chaplain, a powerful ranged commander unit, and the chaos marines' Khorne berserker, a heavy melee fighter sworn to the service of the chaos god. Rounding out the new units are the eldar firedragon, an anti-vehicle infantry unit useful for early-game defense, and the orks' "mega-armored nob" a heavily armored (and knob-shaped) frontline unit.
The new race, the Imperial Guard, will focus heavily on a defensive, long range fighting playstyle and thus seems the right choice for players who don't want to get rushed early on. Every single unit and ability of the original will be rebalanced if necessary so it all remains fun for everyone in multiplayer/skirmish sessions.

And then there is the singleplayer part... Dawn of War didn't quite excel in that area with only one short campaign for the Space Marines. Relic admits they could have done better (in the video-interview with Gamespot on the same page). The expansion will feature two campaigns ('good' and 'evil' campaign) of each 12 missions long. There is the promise of more variety in the objectives and choices that will have to be made. "Kill-cameras" will show you the even more spectacular unit-animations you might have missed.

It doesn't seem as if we'll need to complain about a lack of content for this expansion pack.
