More problems with Rockstar San Diego
Last week we reported about the wives of Rockstar San Diego accusing the company of inhumane working conditions, but it seems the studio is in even bigger problems than you would think.
The studio up to now was responsible for Rockstar's Midnight Club racing games but it's looking like they won't be anymore. According to sources, Rockstar is planning to outsource the entire series and there may be nothing left for the San Diego studio:

That lasted a few months until the team was told, 'Well, we're going to do another, but it will be all outsourced ... but there will be a core team of 5 - 15 people at RSSD working on it.' Then, after a while longer, it was just not going to happen at all. Rumors abound about what will happen to Midnight Club, but Take-Two want something soon because it was the second highest money maker for Rockstar."
It seems that the New York office is largely to blame for any issues with the Midnight Club series.
