More studios affected by EA layoffs
It seems that more studios will be affected by the layoffs at Electronic Arts than first expected.
Sources within the publisher have revealed that the team behind Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight will almost completely be laid off once the game is finished while Pandemic, who are working on The Saboteur will also be hit hard.
Further studios getting hit are Sims and Spore creators Maxis and social network gaming company Rupture Studios. Employees that will not be laid off will be relocated to EA headquarters in Los Angeles and Redwood Shores.
I can imagine that the guys behind C&C4 and The Saboteur aren't all too motivated anymore to continue working on those games so let's hope it won't affect the quality.
