More videoformats for your XBox360
The spring update for Xbox Live will bring more then just the MSN integration and some other improvements. It will improve the support for videoformats as well. Now you will be able to play your downl..., I mean, homemade movies directly instead of having to stream them in .wmv format. Starting this May you can play movies in these formats: MPEG4, H.264 and PlaysForSure.
Now all we have to do is wait another month.
No longer will we be confined to our very least favorite video codec, WMV -- the new update will enable Windows Media Connect or Media Center streaming MPEG-4 up to 8Mbps, H.264 up to 15Mbps, and PlaysForSure WMV videos (and, as we understand it, PlaysForSure audio as well).
Now all we have to do is wait another month.
