Mortal Kombat 7 under development

Gamegossip.com checked out a conference where Midway President and Chief Executive Officer, David F. Zucker apparantly said the following :

"We're making Mortal Kombat 7. We'll have a PS3 SKU and an Xbox 2 SKU, and we'll have a wireless SKU."

So there you have it, Mortal Kombat 6 hasn't been released yet and they're already working on the next part :)
