Will Mortal Kombat jump to PC? Maybe!

Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon has said in an interview that NetherRealm Studios is considering getting Mortal Kombat out on PC. With the Unreal engine at the basis of the game it shouldn't be much of a problem and it seems there's more fight game lovers on PC than they imagined before:

"We're definitely considering it," Boon says. "I've thought 'How many fighting game players are PC guys?' Apparently there seems to be a market for that in Europe. Since we're on the Unreal Engine, I guess it's not that much of a change from the console versions."

I guess we'll have to hear something from Warner Brothers Interactive before starting to jump for joy though.
