Everyone who had hoped that Midway would pull out all registers for Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe will be a bit disappointed.

The game will still be not for those with a weak stomach, but to be able to comply to some conditions Midway will have to keep it a bit decent.

The company behind the Mortal Kombat franchise is aiming for a "T for Teens" rating with Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe and then too much gore is out of the question says the American Entertainment Software Rating Board.

So the very violent "Fatality" of the Joker will be partially removed from the game. During his Fatality you could see how he put a gun to his opponent's head. When he pulls the trigger there was a little flag that came out of the gun with the word "BANG" on it. No problem there, if it weren't for the fact that he very quickly pulls another gun then and shoots his terrified victim in the head with it.

That will not be in the final game. The part with the fake gun will still be in the game, but the firing of the bullet will happen outside of the screen.
