On a blog of BBC News the first bits of info on MotorStorm 2, the sequel to one of the best PS3 launch games, can be read.

The game should be in stores this Christmas, but the most striking news is that you will not have to race in the desert anymore. The new setting will be a tropical island, full with beautiful flowers and plants, that are destroyable with your motoroil leaking rallywheels. Officially that is called 'interactive vegetation'.

Something else the fans were asking for is a 4 player split screen multiplayer. It will in other words no longer be only possible to race online against each other. Now we still have to wait for the first screens!
