Motorstorm not 1080p

Consistency doesn't really seem to be Sony's biggest thing these days. While they're pushing 1080p as the "only true HD", they've told 1Up that one of their top upcoming PS3 titles, Motorstorm, will not be supporting their beloved resolution

Between a speech by Peter Dille, Sony Computer Entertainment America's senior VP of marketing, and a Sony representative both indicating MotorStorm would debut in the US at 60 frames per second and supporting 1080p resolutions, the Internet's been ablaze with speculation about the off-road racer. Too bad it's all for nothing, as SCEA told 1UP that MotorStorm is most definitely 30fps and remains at a HD resolution of 720p

maybe cause psp hasnt warmed up yet on making good games cause you know with tha new lack of companys of psp theyll turn good maybe in like in a few months......(nice avatar)

Whats the PSP got to do with anything, i thought this was about the fact that Sony after all their bullshit talk about 1080p being the only true HD and if you dont have 1080p you are gay and rubbish ( not exactly their words but if they could get away with saying that im sure they would've by now) and then surprise surprise, one of their biggest titles on launch doesnt support 1080p.

Its easy to talk the talk but obviously Sony cant walk the walk ;P
