About 2,5 million British youngsters were inspired by music games like Guitar Hero, Singstar and Rock Band to really take up the art of music.
Youth Music, a British organisation, consequently concludes that the recent popularity of these games is very good for music in general. About one out of five youngsters who play an instrument say that they started because games like Guitar Hero or Rock Band made them get a taste of it.
