The boys from Codemasters are releasing a special title this summer: Overlord. In this game, you are an -uhm- Overlord and you control dozens of crazy 'minions'.

The game is being developed by the Dutch developer Triumph Studios. One of the more important aspects of the game is when you issue an order to one of your minions, he will do everything -everything- to please you and successfully complete his assignment. Sounds like a funny game to me!

There are four kinds of minions:

• Brown Minions - muscle. These are the strongest minions in normal fights. They can pick up weapons from defeated foes and use them against other enemies.
• Red Minions - pyromaniacs. These minions can throw fireballs at their adversaries from a large distance. Next to the fact they're resistant to fire, they can also clear a path for your other soldiers.
• Green Minions - assassins. Green minions prefer sneaky attacks. They'll try to sneak up on their target, jump on his back and then stab him to death. They are perfect for ambushes. Furthermore, they're immune to poison and they can turn junk from the battlefield into useful objects.
• Blue Minions - healers. These are by far the most intelligent minions. They are also the only ones who can swim and revive fallen comrades.

The game should be available this summer on PC and Xbox 360. To be honest, I'm looking forward to it, especially when you look at the quality of the screenshots.
