Gamespot is reporting that NCSoft, one of the most well-known publishers for MMOG's, has seen its profits drop with 43%.

Although that does seem to be pretty ugly, things aren't as bad as they might seem. NCSoft "blames" the drop to increased development costs on new titles along with a one-time write-off of Auto Assault (which means that most income from the game should be almost 100% profit from now on)
