NCsoft has updated the Aion Online site with word about the recent security issues they've been experiencing.
Along with a general view on how difficult it is to keep things secure and how hard they're doing their best, they also give some tips on how YOU can make sure YOUR account doesn't get hacked:
Don’t share your password with anyone. Don’t let your friends log in to your game account Don’t use bots. Ever Don’t buy in-game money Don’t use power-leveling services Don’t run programs designed by third parties for use with our games Beware of phishing Beware of keylogger links on forums Protect your system Don’t use the same password for your game account that you use on Internet forums The full note (which is quite large) can be read in its entirety here
