NPD May: Red Dead Redemption shoots to kill
It seems that Take2 CEO Ben Feder was right when he said that the release of Red Dead Redemption "sucked the oxygen out of the room".
According to the latest NPD numbers, Rockstar Games' Wild West shooter managed to sell no less than 1.51 million copies in May.
For comparison: Microsoft's X360-exclusive top title Alan Wake managed to only sell 145K units while Disney's arcade racer Split/Second did even worse with 86K units. All three games launched on the same day in the US.
