Set to complete on September 29th, 2005, the merger will see the formation of Namco Bandai Holdings Inc. The newly formed company will rank in as Japan's third-largest videogame and toy business, arriving after both Nintendo and Sega Sammy Holdings. Under the terms of the agreement, current Bandai President Takeo Takasu will lead up the new firm, with Namco Vice-Chairman Kyushiro Takagi as its new chairman.
