Microsoft wants Natal to be impulse buy

During a behind-closed-doors tour of UK publishers and studios, Microsoft has given away some new details regarding the launch of Natal, the upcoming motion controller/camera for the Xbox360.

Apparently the device will be released November next year with 5 million units shipping at launch. No less than 14 games with Natal support will be available from day one and the price is supposed to be less than £50.

The device should cost under £50 when sold solo. One publishing source says Microsoft is “trying to get as close as possible to ‘impulse buy’”. Another even says the camera could even retail for just £30
