Naughty Dog's latest is named
Posted on Thursday, 8 February 2007 by Speed, source: Play-France
Although it isn't official yet, all speculations and rumours towards Naughty Dog's upcoming PS3 game seem to point to the name Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, with "Drake" linking to Sir Francis Drake, an English admiral who abandoned a treasure of silver in the Caribbean.
The reason why everyone seems to be so sure this is the correct title is because next to the fact that Sony has put up a trademark application for the title (see NeaGAF forums) but also because Play France has grabbed some images from the personal site of Naughty Dog developer Rob Adams who put them up in his resume and portfolio.
So, although Sony still doesn't want to confirm anything, it seems very likely that this rumour isn't bogus at all. I guess Sony will announce something pretty soon and we'll let you know when they do.
