Need for Speed: SHIFT in September
Electronic Arts plans on releasing the new and more realistic Need for Speed: SHIFT the 18th of September for PC, Xbox360, PS3 and PSP.
That date is confirmed by a trailer that is downloadable from Xbox Live. The game wants to return to its roots of realistic racing, with existing tracks. Slightly Mad Studios, known from GT Legends and GTR 2, is taking care of this part.
Highlight should be the feeling that you are really in a car, with moving drivers and physics that should let you almost feel the G-forces, during braking or crashing for instance. No more cockpit feeling, in other words.
