We recieved word from EA with some interesting new newsbits and 2 screenshots on a top AAA title that's coming up in little less than a month: Need for Speed: Underground.

First of all, they want you to know that all cars are fully tunable to an extent that you would hardly even notice that you are only driving a simple Ford (no offence, but Ford ain't too popular at this moment). Second of all: the soundtrack is gonna be gooooood. Here's a rundown:

Now, the third thing that they want ye al' to know is that the PS2 version is gonna be wild. Here is a rundown on the most important online features:

• Server Details

The Network topology is client / server. In a 4 player game, one of the players (and his PS2) is the Host or Server, and all others are Clients.
EA is providing a match making service to all clients in order to find hosts. Hosts will register themselves with the match maker.
