New Alan Wake game coming up, but it ain't Wake 2

Which platforms the game will be on or when we can expect a release hasn't been confirmed. Hakkinen did say that this Autumn would be a good guess.The new title is supposed to please fans of the first game, but also makes it possible for new people to jump on the bandwagon.

The Finnish developer is disappointed about yesterday's leak after a visual artist mentioned a new Alan Wake on a LinkedIn profile. An official announcement with some visuals is what they had preferred, but he did say he was pleased with the many positive reactions they recieved.
"This has come in a little unexpected as we weren't expecting to be talking about this just yet," shrugged Hakkinen, referring to the leak. "On the flip side, it's great to see that there is interest out there - it really would seem Alan Wake is very close to the hearts of the fans out there, and to ours too.
"It is of course a shame that this news leaked before our official announcements went out which will include the visuals and information to support it."
