QW will be just as mediocre as Q4. Usually im turned off by the present day combat setting offered by BF2 and the like, much more interested in this futuristic rendition..

Mediocre? if compared to Q3 (multiplayer): yes. but as as (single player) shooter on it's own, it wasn't that bad. And i believe that QW will be what Q4 multiplayer should have been. And btw i hate people saying that something will suck if it isn't even out yet!

QW vs BF2142, which is best is only guesses. u cant judge a game from screenshots, just look at ghostrecon: advanced warfighter, that looked good but was barely playable.

I must say that last statement about GRAW is a bit, well, a opinion. I miself found the game very enjoyable and easy to control. Of corse it all depends on the platform I guess, or as I said, your very own taste and experience. About the "guesses" part, you're completely right! You can't judge the game just by looking at screenies and movies. You'll all have to wait until the demo's come out.

That was definetly the case with Unreal 2 and golden eye rogue agent. The screenies/movies looked so awesome for those games, but man did they stink.

One thing is for sure; BF2142 will be very similar to BF2. As I said it could very well be a mod for it. They use the same engine with just a few tweaks, and it is just an extension of the same concept of BF2.

Unfortunately like others have said BF2142 looks like a BF2 Mod. Also there is the fact that EA fuck up every patch. Like FFS 8 patches in a year. At least QW guys have admitted it aint ready rather than EA just releasing it and fucking off a community once again.

So this is what we can expect to see in 2142 - pretty exciting stuff if you ask me! I', just annoyed we still still aren't flying around on jet packs and driving hover cars like they predicted in the 60's :(
