Nintendo's announcement of the new DSi hasn't managed to excite people too much and the result is a continuation of its shares dropping in value.

``Nintendo's announcement on the DS didn't exceed investors' expectations,'' said Yoku Ihara, head of equity research at Retela Crea Securities Co. ``The stock market was so bearish that the news didn't help the shares gain.''

Nintendo's stocks fell 3,7% yesterday. Over the whole year up till now, shares have dropped no less than 41% but that's still better than Sony who saw stock value drop no less than 51%
