New Doom movie? No thanks!
Posted on Thursday, 10 March 2011 by Speed, source: What's Playing
If the latest rumours are true, Universal has decided to unleash some more 'crap cinema' based on id Software's Doom franchise.
Those that remember the first movie - or rather not - needn't worry. Universal is planning a reboot of the franchise and prefers to forget the first one ever existed as well. Just like every big budget movie these days, a new Doom film would come in 3D.
It's of course still little more than a rumour, but chances are high that Universal wants to jump the bandwagon after the recently announced sequels and reboots of other movies lightly based on games.
