New Driver game requires permanent internet
If you're planning to get Driver San Francisco for PC, then prepare to be constantly connected to the internet. And we who thought publishers would no longer put such idiotic DRM in place...
The news was confirmed through the game's Twitter feed. The devs also added that you'll be able to remain offline on your console to play. Only thing you'll need to do there is activate "Uplay" once with your code or pay to unlock multiplayer and bonus features. If you don't have a code, it will cost you about ten bucks.
Driver: San Francisco is expected on 360, PS3, PC and Mac September 1st. There will also be a version for the Wii but that will be totally different and will be detailed more later on.
