New Gears maps tomorrow

Gears of Wars fans dying to get some new maps to fool around in needen't worry anymore. Microsoft announced that they'll make the Hidden Fronts mappack available tomorrow through Xbox Live Marketplace.

The pack includes four new areas for multiplayer matches, for example one with a lot of Kryll and a lot af dark places in wich you'll have to carefully avoid the poisonous fumes in order to advance.

Hidden Fronts consists of four new multiplayer maps for the game. The photophobic Kryll have overrun the Bullet Marsh map, but a few lights hooked up to a generator provide some safe haven for players--until someone starts shooting up the generator, that is. Likewise, The Garden features an environmental hazard in the form of a conservatory's pesticide system that makes venting air a prerequisite to safe passage through the level. The remaining maps, Process and Subway, take place in an Imulsion plant and a commuter hub, respectively.

Epic and Microsoft had, as you may or may not know, some different oppinions on how to distribute these maps but eventually they came to an understanding. Untill the 3rd of September you'll have to pay 800 points for these maps. After that, they'll be available for free. Pay up or wait four months, life sucks!

I think they did the same thing with Halo 2 maps two years ago.
