A couple of gamers with a good pair of eyes, or with a whole lot of time, found out that some gamertags on Xbox Live are playing the game 'Halo 3 Epsilon' at the moment. An anonymous mail made clear that we're dealing with a new beta for the shooter:


According to Mister Anonymous, Epsilon will allow you to play six multiplayermaps, launch custom games, complete a full co-op singleplayerlevel and try out both the Forge and the 'Saved Film'-features.

This sweetness is likely to become available only to the happy few, because Microsoft is keeping its mouth shut. Halo 3 is the best pre-release selling game ever, with over a million per-orders in the US alone.
