New Medal of Honor doesn't contain 2 campaigns *updated*
Update: Electronic Arts has clarified that the game won't be getting two single player campaigns but rather give the possibility to play with multiple characters.
While most shooters are focusing most of their efforts on the multiplayer and abandoning the singleplayer experience, Electronic Arts it seems is giving it a lot of attention.
A Tier 1 operator, one of the American soldiers that is helping with the development of the game said that it will contain two singleplayer campaigns.
The first campaign focuses mostly on stealth where you have to move and fight through small streets. The second campaign is the opposite and will give the player the ability to control all kinds of vehicles. The maps itself also look a lot like a Battlefield environment.
"[the game] will have one seamless single player campaign."
"You will, however, play as multiple characters that partake in diverse and unique experiences from both the 'Tier 1' and 'Big Military' perspectives; hence the 'Sledgehammer' and 'Scalpel' motifs that were taken out of context."

Most interesting, is that we learn that Medal of Honor is set to divide its single-player portion into two sections. The first is as previously described, formulating around a series of Elite Op missions that see you on more secretive and specific objective based tasks. Alongside this however, is a Sledgehammer campaign that takes you away from playing as the Tier 1 Elite Ops, and will change the focus of the gameplay of being part of the standard issue military. These are on a far bigger scale than the Elite Op missions, with the player becoming engulfed as a small part of the overall war machine – rather than the tight city/ town environments, you will be placed in wide open Battlefield areas and granted more access to vehicles, helicopters and such like – there’s even a Quad Bike!
Let us hope that both campaigns won't be played out in one or two hours :)In other news:
