While everyone thought that R-Type Final was going to be the last game in the series of the legendary side-scrolling shoot 'em ups, developer Irem comes out with yet another title: R-Type Tactics.


At least that's what can be read in the new edition of Famitsu magazine. This time the game should be a 'turn-based interpretation' of its predecessors. Hard to say exactly what this means and apart from some blurry screens and scans from the article, we don't have much more info on the game. But once we do, we'll keep you posted.
