New Spider-Man coming up
IGN received word from Activision that Shaba Games and Treyarch are working on a new Spider-Man game which will have the title Spider-Man: Web of Shadows. Supposedly, it would arrive in stores this Autumn for PC, PS2, PS3, PSP, Xbox360, DS and Wii.
There's little info available at this moment, but the new Spider-Man incarnation is supposed to be set in a free-roaming, open-ended New York that combines web slinging with customizable superpowers. Next to the standard ground combat, the new Spidey will take fighting into the skies with emphasis on vertical combat.
At the New York Comic-Con this week, at Activision's booth, the company will be holding voiceover auditions for the title. Videos of the performances will be posted on the Spider-Man: Web of Shadow's website where the community will be able to vote for who they want in the game.
