New WipeOut titles planned for PS3 and PSP

Is it Announcement Day today? In an interview, Michael Denny confirmed that a new WipeOut game is in development for the PlayStation 3. Denny is the vice president of SCE Worldwide Studios. The PSP will also receive a new a follow-up to the magnificent WipeOut Pure.

The PS3 will most likely use the possibilities of the Sixaxis controller, but we can't give you any specifics at this time.
