New Xbox won't be coming soon

Microsoft's Robbie Bach has stated that although the period between Xbox and Xbox360 was only four years, it will take a little longer for a new generation to arrive.
"Just coming up with something that's faster and prettier isn't going to be sufficient," said Bach, 47. "The life cycle for this generation of consoles — and I'm not just talking about Xbox, I'd include Wii and PS3 as well — is probably going to be a little longer than previous generations."
Oh well, I don't think many people are looking for a new generation just yet seeing the current financial woes so I guess it's for the better.Anyway, maybe Nintendo will surprise us all with a new generation before anyone else? After all, they've got quite a lot of catching up to do when it comes to pure horsepower and seeing how the Wii is doing they probably have the money to pull it off as well :)
