Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun had an interview with Nintendo president Satoru Iwata who gave plenty of interesting information.

First of all, the new Legend of Zelda Wii Game, which was originally announced at E3 last year, is set for release before the end of 2010. Whether this is only relevant for the Japanese market or worldwide, however, is unclear. Let's hope the latter :)

Also very interesting is the fact that the prez also gave the first hints about a real successor to the DS. Indeed, not another "evolution" like the DSi but a really new handheld:
I guess we know what announcement to expect from Nintendo at the next E3 :)
