Before 2011?

In an interview with Famitsu, Nintendo producer Eiji Aonuma said he's hoping to get the new The Legend of Zelda for the Wii in a playable state in order to show it off at E3.

"I'd like to show something playable," said Aonuma when pressed on the possibility of a playable showing at the June trade show.

He also hinted that he's pressing the team really hard in order to get the game finished before the end of the year:

"We'll work hard in order to get you playing it as soon as possible."

"We've progressed in development since last year," said Aonuma. "At present, the core areas have come into clear view."

If they get Zelda ready for E3, I know one press conference where the audience will go insane already.
