The announcement of Undercover, a new adventure game in development by the Austrian company Sproing, is rather short. They must be putting all their time in the game itself then :)

Here goes:

Undercover is set during the Second World War, in the heart of war-torn Europe. The tantalizing story revolves around a horrible What-If scenario, tackling myths and undiscovered secrets and gives all new insights into the terrifying machinations of this era.

The game is to be released by the end of September.

Are these new waves of adventure games even selling? I thought they all died out in the 80's early 90's.

Adventure games never really died out, they just morphed into something else. But for me the peak of adventure games was in 2000, then everything went to hell (in general, there are of course a few adventure games now and then worth playing).

I buy all of them to support the genre. Very few other games deliver something intelligent, with a decent story. We're not all 16, y'know.
