If you want a decent background story, chances are you won't find it in an MMORPG. Still it must be said that the storyline of The Chronicles of Spellborn is quite 'special'. In the first chapters of the story we learned how the humans rebelled with their Davei friends against the demons. The outcome of this war was the destruction of their entire world.

You heard me! No Orcs and Elves fighting over some magic forest, but two races who blew up their own world and are trying to survive on pieces of rock(shards) in a magical storm(deadspell storm). Not something you normally hear in a fantasy MMORPG!

Each week they add a chapter to the background story, until the moment the player will start to explore the world. This week it is about the colonization of the newly discovered shard Parliament and the betrayal of three factions. This chapter is the second part of the previous one and goes under the name Age of Expansion (continued).

More information like a releasedate and American publisher will probably be revealed on G|C Leipzig.
