Japanese Game Watch has managed to get hold of some new information regarding Soul Calibur V.

The biggest news is the confirmation of two new characters, Pyrrha and Patroklos, both being children of the deceased Sophitia. The kids haven't had an easy childhood as their mother was murdered and their father died an untimely death from a disease.

Both were born in Greec Athens, but were abducted at young age. Pyrrha, the eldest daughter of Sophitia remembers nothing of her childhood and doesn't even have family ties. Her brother Patroklos on the other hand does now there's a surviving family member and is now looking for his sister. Whether he'll find and recognise her before he puts her on his sword is yet unclear.

In the meantime also some favorites from previous parts have been confirmed including Siegfried, Mitsurugi and Ivy. In total the game will have 30 characters, of which half of them will be new.
