Warhammer Online and Age of Conan are not the only mmorpg's that are going to be released at the beginning of 2008. If al goes well, The Chronicles of Spellborn will add itself to this list as a third mmorpg. Now what are the positive points about this game? Well what do you say about minimal timesinks, an innovative combat and atmospheric graphics?

Spellborn International was kind enough to release 16 new screenshots of their upcoming game. The first six are of a zone called Slywood. This area has been cursed by some unknown force and now nothing grows on these lands. The general population has mostly fled and now it's a safe haven for criminals who try to escape justice.

The final ten screenshots are of the Green District. This is a part of the capital city which will burn forever after a failed magical experiment. Because of the small alleys and many routes it will be a perfect PVP zone filled with useful quests.
