The Splinter Cell franchise is one of the many franchises that's been around for a while. The first game that introduced new game hero Sam Fisher was released in 2003. The public loved the game so Ubisoft had reasons enough to make new Splinter Cell games. Now, we're three years later and the fourth part of the series is knocking on our door.

As you can read in the title, Splinter Cell: Double Agent will make you a double agent. Again, it's the intention to infiltrate in a reputed terrorist group. This means you will have to be very careful to not be seen as a CIA agent. If you take a look at the new screenshots, you will notice the high level of finishing touches in the 3D graphics. After all, Ubisoft has given the game a complete new graphical engine.

Good to see none of those shots even use the in-game camera, that's why it looks exciting, it's still the poor mans Metal Gear Solid I'm afraid
