With the latest update of the Stargate Worlds-website , five new screenshots were shown in the gallery. The developer, Cheyenne Mountain, uses the Unreal 3 engine for this MMORPG and aren't bad, like other Stargate games that have been in development before.

I'd even say the results are really promising. Now let's all hope they can capture the feel of the Stargate realm in the gameplay as well.

The game just entered production phase, so these "screenshots" are nothing more than envrionments created in the UE editor based off concept art.

I love the look of them, but then I figured out it was an MMORPG, so no dice for me :P

But what if there's no monthly cost, like in Guild Wars. Wouldn't you at least try the game? :) And one year after this one, create a second game that takes place in Atlantis.

Monthly cost is not an issue for me, it's only $15 quid a month, that's nothing. I just hate the fact that you have to spend countless hours each month with mindless grinding to level up your character. Not to mention that during all these hours, the universe never changes. There is basically no 'intelligence' in 'artifical' in these game, which doesn't make them one bit challenging. MMOs are just boring as hell.

As I am sure you can tell I am pretty much Anti-MMO :P
