Alone in the Dark disappointed some because of the bugs and glitches that cast a shadow over the good things. Atari learned its lesson and promised improvement in the upcoming PS3 version. The changes are apparently so big that a new title is needed: Alone in the Dark: Inferno.

Improvements are among others: free camera movement, improved inventory (and the game now pauses too while the inventory is browsed), overall tweaking and even a new action sequence with a new enemy. A patch with the same improvements (although probably not the action sequence) should also be released for the Xbox360 version.
