Today's update of the PSN will add a much requested feature to the Home service.

The feature, called Universal Game Launching, generalises a principal already used for games like MotorStorm and Street Fighter IV where you can directly dive into the game with a bunch of friend from Home.

However, it must be said that this 'universal' version will be a bit skimmed down. In fact, to offer a similar feature Sony will have to implement it title by title as this function just allows you to start a game from Home without booting back to XMB.
